Breathwork is an active meditation where you participate in a two part breath. You will be guided through your experience as a way to explore emotional blocks, nurture intuition, and tap into your creative potential. This practice helps make space for higher vibration, living, getting in touch with your relationship to self, others, and Mother Earth.
What is the two part yoga pranayama?
The breath is done via two Inhales and one exhale, all through the mouth. You will lay down throughout the meditation, participate at your comfort level, and be physically comfortable throughout your practice.
Shannon’s role is to hold the space, guide you through the experience, assist as needed, and allow you to tap into your own internal healing powers, potential, expression, creativity, and purpose. You are the driver, and Shannon is your co-pilot motivated by unconditional love.
What happens during a private session?
- First we will chat a bit, getting a feel for what brought you in, and there needs be no answer for the work to be productive. It allows us to connect, To answer any questions you may have, and for you to feel comfortable.
- Next you will lie down and we will begin By grounding and getting the vibration moving. I will be your guide through the two part yoga paranayama breath. You will actively participate in the breath for a period of time and my role will be to hold the space for whatever arises from within you.
- After that, you get to rest and recharge via a still savasana like recovery. There is an optional gong bath to assist in the healing.
Breathwork can be done as couples, siblings, parent/child, business partners, friends etc. The addition of the couples is that we work through possible blocks or uncomfortable situations within the relationship. This loving practice allows you both to be safely guided together opening the lines of communication, connection, and clarity.
