Leslieann’s philosophy is about softening the heart, releasing our grip on expectations, and allowing for the divine to radiate from within.

Leslieann’s down-to-earth personality helps people feel at ease in her classes that unify mind, body, and spirit, whether they are super-beginners or long-time practitioners who are looking to expand. With a casual and relaxed approach, she weaves in poetry, mantra, and sound into her classes, inviting students to be open in all ways, to understand that every moment is different –that one day you’ll balance in tree pose no problem and the next, you’ll keep falling over—and that’s okay. Honor where you are in the Now. Her philosophy is about softening the heart, releasing our grip on expectations, and allowing for the divine to radiate from within.

A poet herself and lifelong learner, she received her 200-hr certification from Onyx Yoga Studio, her 300-hr advanced training in Bhakti yoga from Supersoul with Raghunath Cappo, and her 220-hr certification in Kundalini Yoga with Mahan Rishi Singh Khalsa and Nirbhe Kaur Khalsa. She also received training in yoga for healing trauma and addiction from Kula for Karma and a 50-hr certification in Sound into Silence meditation with Denise Milhak.
