Michelle Weintraub

Michelle often says: “Every amount of the pose is the pose” and “Yoga is a breathing practice, that’s all it is. If you can breathe you can do yoga. The physical effects of yoga are all just fringe benefits and stem from the breath.”

Michelle often says: “Every amount of the pose is the pose” and “Yoga is a breathing practice, that’s all it is. If you can breathe you can do yoga. The physical effects of yoga are all just fringe benefits and stem from the breath.”

Yoga has been a part of Michelle’s life for over 20 years. Her practice has helped her grow stronger, become more flexible and fearless, both on and off the mat. Yoga inspires her to live each moment more mindfully and encourage others to do the same reminding everyone of the never-ending ripple effect this practice offers.

Michelle completed her 200 hour Anusara-Inspired teacher training in 2011 with Tarra Madore, DC & certified Anusara Yoga Teacher of Smart Asana Yoga (formerly Inner Light Yoga Center) and is currently working on her 500 hours certification.

Michelle’s classes blend creative sequencing, a spirit of playfulness and a strong dose of Ayurveda into each class to help you deepen both your physical & your philosophical knowledge & practice. She seeks to help others thrive in life by nurturing body, mind and soul with yoga, and hopes to leave you feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced at the end of each class. Some of the words Michelle often says: “Every amount of the pose is the pose” and “Yoga is a breathing practice, that’s all it is. If you can breathe you can do yoga. The physical effects of yoga are all just fringe benefits and stem from the breath.”

Michelle thanks all of her teachers for guiding her including Elaine Hanson, Tarra Madore, Marc Holtzman & Jason Crandell.

She looks forward to sharing her love for the practice of Yoga with you.
